Vicki had a visitor in the morning, then was able to nap the rest of the day. She's received two transfusions and reports that these make her feel a lot more energetic. She also had an elevated temperature and blood pressure, but medication has brought those down.
Jack spent the day at home following orders to rest. Good Dog.
Even this blogger found some missing Z's on the living room couch.

I've returned to Minnesota after my trip to be with Vicki during Jack's recovery. We certainly didn't expect her to be a patient as well. I can relate to all that she's got a positive attitude about beating this, and a lot of faith in her doctor and the staff at the hospital. Both Jack and Vicki are extremely grateful to all of you for your offers of help and encouragement.

I already miss you Julie it was way so short a trip but we really were thrilled you could come save us!
I have Megan and Jim's wedding as a goal on my recovery plan. Must be able to fly to MN , dance in glads, Kareoke and have fun in the photo booth!
