Miss V. reported to UCSF for admission on Monday, but after doing some lab work and having a PICC line inserted whe was told to go home because there were no beds available. She had to go home with the PICC line, which was sort of sore, but not nearly as bad as in August when she was horribly bruised because of her low platelet count.
While it was nice to be able to go home and see the pups, V. is in the frame of mind to get this journey started and over with, so it was disappointing. She's to call back today and find out whether or not they will be able to admit her.

Wasn't it the Black Eyed Peas who sang "Let's Get it Started?" That can be Vicki's new theme song! Hang tough and remember we all love you.

I am not sure about that but I know Pink said Let's Get This Party Started and it has! This is day number 5 in UCSF spa and I have completed the chemo and now will start experiencing the side effects. My blood counts are still to high to be in a private room but my rooom mate is a dog trainer and animal lover and we get along just fine.
Since this, Vicki was admitted on Tuesday, has had four continuous (24-hour) days of chemo, and is starting to feel the ill effects, now. Her spirits are still pretty good, and she still loves to hear from everyone when feeling well enough.
